Voice AI for government services
Every resident answered at once and helped the first time.

Residents call about renewals, fees and missing documents, after your centres close and in the rush before a deadline. xAIa's AI employees answer by voice and WhatsApp from the case record, and leave every decision on a case with your officers.

Example: Hello, my permit renewal still says pending. Is anything missing? The AI employee answers, and the result: Upload link sent on WhatsApp; Case R-58214 noted for officer review.

What voice AI handles for federal and local government.

Status, documents and fees, answered on the first call.

Where an application stands, read from the case in the resident's language. Approvals stay with your officers.

Resident service lines

Residents reminded before a deadline, and answered during it.

Callers in an amnesty, registration or renewal window told the exact steps and documents, in their own language.

Deadlines and campaigns

Answers for your own staff on leave, payroll, access and IT.

Leave balances and policy questions answered from your HR system.

Staff service desk

Security and data rules for government lines.

Every conversation follows the rules your regulators set.

  • UAE-hosted or on-premise

Calls and case records stay in the UAE or on hardware your entity owns, and none of it trains a shared model.

  • Role-based access and audit logs

Staff see only what their role allows, and every action the AI employee takes is logged.

  • Recording notice on every call

Each call opens by saying it is your entity's AI employee and that the call is recorded.

  • Each call checked against your standard

ComplAI checks 100% of calls against your service standard and flags the ones that fall short.

How a resident's call reaches the right officer.

  1. Caller identified.Checked against the case record before any detail of it is read out.
  2. Next step agreed. The resident hears what is missing and says yes before anything is sent.
  3. Case updated. The link goes out and the case is noted while the resident is still on the line.
  4. Officer briefed. The officer receives the case and transcript, and picks up where the call left off.

FAQ

Questions government teams ask about voice AI

Who decides on applications, fines and appeals?

Your authorised officers decide on approvals, eligibility, fines and appeals. The AI employee reads the case, says what is outstanding and takes only the steps you permit, such as sending an upload link. It explains each step and acts once the resident agrees, as the UAE's unified guide for designing government services powered by agentic AI asks.

Can the AI run on servers in our own data centre?

Yes. Speech recognition, the language model, the voice and the recordings can run on hardware your entity owns, or in region in the UAE. On-premise means your entity owns the infrastructure and its upkeep, and updates arrive on your own change calendar, so it suits a mandate that requires it. Either way, the data follows your classification and is never used to train shared models.

Does it speak Gulf Arabic or formal Arabic?

Both. It replies in the dialect and register the caller uses: Gulf Arabic as residents speak it, or formal Arabic when that is how the caller speaks. It follows a caller who switches into English mid-sentence, and a resident who opens in Urdu, Hindi or another of the 90+ languages is answered in it, on the same number.

Does an AI employee replace our customer service staff?

No. It takes the routine calls, such as status, documents, fees and appointments, at any hour and in the resident's language. Officers keep every case that needs judgement. When a resident wants a person, the call is transferred, or a callback is booked if the centre is closed, and the officer receives the case and transcript, so their time goes on the decision.

How quickly can a government service line go live?

A pilot on one line reaches production in about 30 days, once access to the case system is agreed. The staff service desk is a lower-risk first line, because questions about leave, payroll and IT carry less exposure than resident records. The resident line then follows on the same deployment, with its own permissions.
